Helsinki City Transport (HSL) and JCDecaux designed a competition for public transport users (“Himomatkaaja”) 13th December 2013 - 16th January 2014. 

The most active users of public transport tracked QR codes from Digiscreens in metros and trams to register their movements in Helsinki area. (The QR codes are updated once every hour) In practice, the registration was done by reading a QR-Code from the Digiscreen with a smart phone, or by registering online at 

 After the campaign HSL randomly selected 5 winners of the top10 travelers who collected the most QR codes. These 5 travelers won a HSL's gift card worth of 100 €.

  • The competition website was visited 5762 times (4922 times from mobile)
